Dripline & Soaker Hose
DIG’s driplines, micro lines and soaker hose support an efficient drip irrigation system to water ground cover, trees and shrubs. DIG offers a range of driplines and micro lines with preset spacings specifically designed to efficiently irrigate any plant group, including watering individual plants along the dripline or for areas with dense planting. DIG’s driplines, micro lines and soaker tape are made from extruded polyethylene tubing with built-in turbulent flow, and non-compensating or pressure compensating (PC) drip emitters. Dripline, micro line and soaker hose are ideal for watering rows of plants, narrow plantings and vegetable gardens, and the dripline and micro line can be looped around trees and plants to provide uniform irrigation throughout the system.
1/2″ Pressure Compensating Dripline, black
DIG’s 1/2″ (.600″ ID X .700″ OD) black dripline has 1-GPH pressure compensating (PC) drip emitters built into the interior wall of the dripline every 12”. Each PC drip emitter consists of a cylinder with a labyrinth water passage, filter and silicon diaphragm. The emitters continuously adjust to varying incoming water pressure ranging from 10 to 45 PSI, ensuring a constant flow rate along the dripline regardless of any elevation along the line. In addition, their self-flushing mode allows particles to pass harmlessly through, providing reliable performance and a longer life.
For commercial and residential applications, install this drip line above the ground and, if desired, cover it with mulch to blend with the landscape. The PC dripline is ideal for plants in preset spacing, narrow plantings, and closely spaced plants in rows, as well as for hedges, groundcover, shrubs and roses. For complete coverage of an area, use multiple lines of dripline, placing the lines 16″ to 24″ apart. In addition, the dripline can be used around a house foundation to reduce soil movement, cracking and slab damage.

Drip Soaker Tape
Drip Soaker Tape is a flat, thin-walled hose containing pre-spaced drip emitters, that expands when filled with water. The model ST100R for 100’ and ST500 for 500’ drip soaker tape have in-line drip emitters, welded into to the drip soaker tape every 12” during the extrusion process, allowing for complete saturation coverage along the line. Ideal for drip irrigation of vegetable gardens and row crops including tomatoes, strawberries, melons, peppers, eggplants and more, drip tape can be installed above or below ground or under mulch. The most efficient use of drip soaker tape is with low flow drip emitters, closely spaced to achieve the desired wetting pattern. Homeowners are successfully using a range of drip irrigation techniques including drip soaker tape systems to grow a variety of crops without the use of traditional sprinkler systems. The drip soaker tape requires special fittings, available in a number of configurations, for exclusive use with the drip soaker tape.
Features
- Ideal for use on rows of vegetables or fruits, such as blueberries, strawberries, cucumbers, melons, raspberries and many more
- High-quality-extruded thin walled pipe profile with pre-inserted drip emitters every 12”
- Simple to install
- Can operate under extreme weather and field conditions
- Unmatched uniformity, performance and reliability for a wide range of crops
- Requires less than half of the water needed for sprinkler irrigation
- Resistant to chemicals and fertilizers commonly used in landscaping
- Install above or below ground
- Using drip tape, high levels of water management can be achieved because plants are supplied with precise amounts of water
1/4 in. Porous Soaker Hose
DIG’s PSH50 Porous Soaker Hose is an extruded small-diameter flexible pipe made of UV-resistant recycled rubber from old tires. When looked at under a magnifying glass, the soaker hose is peppered with many tiny holes, and when under pressure, it sweats or weeps along its full length. The porous soaker hose can be used in short lengths to water planter boxes, narrow plantings and vegetable gardens, and can be looped or circled around trees. It can be connected into the drip tubing or micro tubing using 1/4″ barbed fittings.
Features
- Use for planter boxes, closely planted or narrow areas, vegetable gardens or loops around trees.
- Allows water to gently trickle directly to the root zone, delivering a constant deep watering through its porous openings.
- No special tools or glue are needed.
- Saves money by significantly lowering the cost of system components compared to conventional irrigation systems.
- DIG’s drip irrigation products may be exempt from residential and commercial watering restrictions (check local codes).
1/4 in. Microline™ Dripline
Extremely versatile and flexible, DIG’s 1/4″ Microline Dripline presents key advantages over other irrigation methods, utilizing low-cost, small-diameter dripline that can be used in any part of the garden for a water-efficient drip irrigation system. The dripline’s cylindrical labyrinth drip emitters are inserted into the interior wall of the 1/4” micro tubing every 6″, 9″ or 12″ spacing. It can be installed in a wide range of above-ground application layouts, or used under mulch or bark to conserve water or for aesthetic reasons. The dripline is designed to be extended from the drip tubing or micro tubing using a 1/4″ barb, or attached into our four- or six-outlet drip manifolds. It can be used in planter boxes, vegetable gardens, window boxes, box gardens, looped around individual plants or trees, in narrow paths of planting areas or where total saturation is desired along the drip line path, while eliminating discoloration of fences, windows and walls due to water staining.
Features
- Use for planter boxes, window boxes, closely planted or narrow areas, vegetable gardens, gravity feed systems, green roofs or loop around roses, shrubs and trees
- Connected into any drip system’s drip tubing with ¼” barbed fittings
- Each drip emitter has two outlets for less chance of plugging
- Use for commercial and residential applications
- Allows water to drip directly to the root zone, delivering a constant deep watering
- No special tools or glue are needed
- Can be used in both new and existing landscape areas
- Available in 50’ with 12″ spacing, 100′ with 6″, 9″ and 12″ spacing and 500′ with 12″ spacing
